Dear Prayer-Partners,
I am in Miami as I write this...will be in Haiti tomorrow (the Lord willing).  Proverbs 18:10 tells us “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.”  Proverbs 11:14 tells us there is safety in a multitude of counselors.  I have been in touch with many in Haiti and they tell me it is time to come back...we will use caution but they do not fear for my safety.  I certainly would appreciate your prayers!

FLORIDA WEDDING!

I will be in Haiti a month and then will return to Florida to perform the wedding of my second son, Mark and his fiancée, Lacey Freeland.  I am very much looking forward to that.  If you think of them I know they would appreciate your prayers as well.  The wedding will be May 15 and their address will be 7610 Omni Ln, Apt 302, Ft Myers, FL  33905 

LUKE’S GRADUATION 

My third son, Luke, completed his Bible College training at Dayspring Bible College in December.  He will officially graduate in May.  His e-mail address is Luke@haitibiblemission.org.  He is not sure where he will be living so any letters should be sent to the home address in Arkansas.  He is presently employed at a print shop in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and is really enjoying his work.  He plans to work there until the Lord opens the door for full-time ministry.  He speaks of many opportunities to share the gospel at work and has already seen one person come to the Lord.  He is involved with a good local church and is looking forward to many opportunities to minister there as well.

JESILA 

Please pray for Jesila. She is the young daughter of a pastor that badly needs an eye operation and a foot operation.  They have made three trips to the capital of Port au Prince and the doctors have not been willing to come to the hospital because of all the problems in the capital.  We are trusting the Lord to work out the details for her in the near future. 

TRUCK & MOTORCYCLE 

The truck is ordered...it is sitting in customs in Port au Prince...they have not opened the customs yet after the political problems so the Toyota dealer cannot even get the truck as of yet.  Please keep praying about that situation.  I also pray that I can go to the part of the city where the motorcycles are sold and check on them.  We just need wisdom and the guidance of the Lord in all these things. 

SUMMER MISSION TRIP 

At this point we are planning on a summer mission trip to Haiti the last week of July and first week of August.  If interested please contact me as soon as possible.  The cost is $750 from Miami. 

RELIEF EFFORT

During this trip to Haiti I plan on doing a lot of food distribution.  After all the problems in the country there are many of my believers who are hurting just to find enough food to eat.  I will also be helping purchase food for orphanage children.  Some money has been donated for this project...of course, any others that care to do so may designate it accordingly.  Please pray that I will be blessed of the Lord in finding food supplies to purchase and distribute.

PRAISE, PRAISE, PRAISE 

I just feel I need to say a big praise to the Lord for the way He is blessing my life and the ministry of Haiti Bible Mission.  The Lord is so good and He continues to amaze me with the way He works out situations to the praise of His glory!!!
