A Powerful Partnership: HBM & Feed My Starving Children
We believe in caring for both the spiritual and physical needs of our communities. As starvation continues to devastate families across Haiti, our partnership with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) has become a critical lifeline for so many.
Thanks to this partnership, HBM is continuing to feed 1,000 people every day! Just this past week we distributed an incredible 25,920 meals!
What Is MannaPack?
The meals we distribute are no ordinary meals—they are scientifically designed to save lives. In 1993, a team of food scientists from Cargill, General Mills, and Pillsbury developed a vitamin- and mineral-fortified rice meal tailored specifically for malnourished children. This life saving formula is now known as MannaPack Rice™.
Today, FMSC produces three specialized MannaPack meal formulas, all developed by food science and nutrition professionals to combat the devastating effects of undernutrition. These meals:
Supplement nutritional needs
Support immune systems
Reduce long-term health problems linked to hunger
MannaPack Rice, FMSC’s original food formula, is an excellent source of protein, carbohydrates, and essential nutrients and carefully balanced to meet the needs of anyone over the age of one.
When Hunger Is the Enemy, Hope Is the Weapon
Political instability, inflation, and ongoing insecurity have made access to food nearly impossible for many families. But through our collaboration with FMSC and the distribution of MannaPack meals, we're able to step into these hard places and offer more than a meal, we offer hope, dignity, and life-saving support.
Whether it’s a mother who can finally feed her children, a young student receiving a nutritious meal at school, or an elderly neighbor given strength for one more day—these stories are only possible because of faithful partners like FMSC, and supporters like YOU. Every box of food distributed is a tangible reminder of God's provision. These meals don't just fill stomachs- they open doors for ministry, build trust in our communities, and allow us to share the gospel in both word and deed.
